▲ Johnnie Gregory Hiers, 33, Webb Circle, Metter — two counts felony probation violation.


➤ Statesboro Police Department

▲ Charlton Andre Engles, 31, Paul Street, Portal — possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, failure to maintain lane, suspended license, felony probation violation.

▲ James David Scarborough, 39, no street address listed, Eden — wanted person (Effingham County).

▲ Earnest Lorenzo Williams, 35, North Main Street — suspended license, no insurance.

▲ Henry Lee Jones, 26, Williams Street, Newington — felony theft by receiving stolen property.


INCIDENTS

➤ Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office

▲ PAUL SMITH ROAD — A woman reported seeing bicycle tracks on her property and suspected someone trespassed.

▲ LAWRENCE CHURCH ROAD — The son of a woman’s ex-boyfriend came to her home, upset over her relationship with his father ending. He drove onto her property, revving his engine and yelling, causing a scene, she said.

▲ COLFAX ROAD WEST — A man said his ex-girlfriend damaged a door when she entered his home to get her property, but the woman denied doing so, saying the landlord had knowledge of the damage before they moved into the home.

▲ RUSTY ROAD — A woman said someone rummaged through her vehicle. She reported nothing taken.

▲ CHESTNUT OAK DRIVE — A man said someone ransacked his vehicle, but took nothing.

▲ STANFORD DRIVE — A man said someone entered three vehicles, but took noting of value. Witnesses saw three juveniles in the area, knocking in doors and leaving when they earned residents were home.

▲ LINCOLN STREET — A woman reported her son was threatening her with violence, yelling and cussing. The adult son told deputies he had a history of mental illness and was thinking of harming himself He was taken to a hospital for evaluation.

▲ COWBOY WAY — Deputies responded to a domestic dispute; however, they reported no crime was committed.

▲ PONDEROSA ROAD — In response to a reported domestic dispute deputies transported one involved party to another residence.

▲ STILSON LEEFIELD ROAD — A woman who admitted having drug abuse issues, having recently used methamphetamine and having been prescribed several medications for mental illness told deputies she believed her children were “shot and killed” in a residence. A woman in that residence told deputies this was a common occurrence, that the kids were safe with the complainant’s parents. A check with the children’s grandparents proved the children were safe, and during investigation, deputies learned the children may have been taken from the mother due to drug use.

▲ BANKS CREEK/ROCKY FORD ROAD — A woman told deputies a man beat her in the face during an argument over her bad attitude. The man agreed there was an argument over the woman’s attitude but he denied hitting her. He said he grabbed her when she tried to jump out of a moving truck.


➤ Statesboro Police Department

▲ NEW BEGINNINGS TRANSITION CENTER (Denmark Street) — A man was scammed out of $200 during an online relationship.

▲ ROBIN HOOD TRAIL — In responding to a report of drug activity, officers arrested a person on marijuana charges.

▲ WEST JONES AVENUE — A traffic stop for failure to maintain lane ended in an arrest on marijuana charges.
