Two men were injured and one arrested Saturday after a domestic argument led to gunfire on a street in Millen.

Gregory Jerome Sapp Jr. of Hillcrest Street was arrested on several charges in relation to the shooting that took place around 5:50 p.m. at the intersection of South Masonic Street and Ross Avenue, said Millen Police Det. Sgt. Brad Adams.

One man, Jaleel Foots, 27, Regency Road, Millen, was only grazed in the leg. A second victim, Quamaine Lamar Lane, 26, of West Old Savannah Road, Millen, was taken to a hospital in Augusta, shot in the hand, buttocks and abdomen. Lane had several surgical procedures and remains in stable but serious condition, he said.

A third man in the car was uninjured.

Adams did not say what factors caused the domestic argument, but said several shots were fired.

Sapp, 27, is being held without bond in the Jenkins County Jail, charged with two counts of aggravated assault, one count of aggravated battery, one count of tampering with evidence and one count of possession of a firearm during commission of a crime.

The case remains under investigation, Adams said. Anyone with information about the shooting incident is asked to contact him at (478) 982-2750.
