Statesboro police arrested a man on three counts of aggravated assault after a Saturday night fight at a local bar.

Travis Julian Eunice, 23, of Park Place Apartments, was reportedly involved in a fight with three others around
9:15 p.m. Saturday at Southern Billiards, said interim Statesboro police Chief Robert Bryan.

Officers responded to a call about a fight involving a knife at the Lanier Drive location, and when they arrived, "witnesses advised the suspect had left the scene in a silver vehicle," he said.

"Three victims were located on scene and transported by EMS to East Georgia Regional Medical Center for treatment" of injuries, he said. The injuries were not described in reports.

Victims and witnesses told officers that Eunice was in a fight with several other males in the parking lot and used a knife, injuring three unidentified men.

Advanced Patrol Officer Michael Clark observed a vehicle matching witnesses' description leaving the area and stopped the vehicle. He then detained Eunice and transported him to the Statesboro Police Department, Bryan said.

The case was turned over to Detective Benjamin Purvis, who collected evidence at the scene and interviewed the parties involved, Bryan said.

"Through further investigation, Eunice was arrested and charged with three counts of aggravated assault."

The three victims were treated and released, he said.
