A man has been charged with killing another man and critically wounding a woman Saturday morning at a residence on Hart Lane, Statesboro police said Saturday evening. Dennis R. Weaver, 42, of Twin City, was charged with with murder and aggravated assault after both people were stabbed at 9:30 a.m., Statesboro Public Safety Director Wendell Turner said in a news release. Police said Weaver stabbed Lashika Weaver and Marion Lamonte Wiggs in the home.
