A man who was stopped for a minor traffic offense ended up with more serious charges after he got into a scuffle with a deputy, according to the Bulloch County Sheriff's Office. Deputy 1st Class Randall Norman stopped a vehicle at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday on Kyle Sorrell Road at Newton's Mobile Home Park for a minor traffic offense, Bulloch County Sheriff Lynn Anderson said in a Wednesday news release. Norman made contact with the driver, later identified as Kenneth Steven Chapman, 21, of Grant Street in Garden City, and Chapman gave a false name, the release says.After obtaining Chapman's true identity, Norman found that the suspect was wanted in Effingham County, Anderson said.
