Anderson’s 9th annual Old Farm Day is Saturday
Anderson Old Farm Day

It’s that time again: Anderson’s General Store’s 9th annual Old Farm Day is this Saturday, October 27, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.  This is one of the most anticipated events annually at Anderson’s General Store.

In addition to their unique inventory, knowledgeable and helpful staff, one of the primary things shoppers like most about Anderson’s is that you feel like you are stepping back in time to an old-fashioned general store. Stepping back to a time where everyone knew your name and the storekeepers were excited to see you.

The Old Farm Day is a continuation of Anderson’s focus to create a special shopping experience every time you visit.  With this event, there is truly something for everyone.  Admission is free.

Don’t miss the farm animals including a cow, horse, chickens and even a tortoise.  You can even ride a horse if you would like to.  If you do not want to ride the horse, you can ride the train or try to hit a target with a giant slingshot.  For the brave cowboys and cowgirls, you can try your hand at the mechanical bull.  Plenty of food, a bouncy house, hay maze, games for kids, gristmill, pumpkin patch and antique tractors will also be at Old Farm Day.

There will be contests throughout the day with prizes and drawings for FREE Georgia Boots, Ariat Boots, Wolverine boots, caps, t-shirts, a Carhartt jacket, a Drake jacket, and gift baskets.

Make plans to join the fun, this Saturday, October 27 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Anderson’s General Store Old Farm Day.

Anderson’s General Store is located at 23736 Hwy. 80 East in Statesboro.  Reach them by phone at (912) 489-3443 or on the web at
