A woman arrested on outstanding warrants racked up some additional charges when she was caught on video ditching drugs into a jail waste container.
Marajah Denise Kelly, 27, Valley Road, was brought into the Bulloch County Jail  Monday by Statesboro Police officers who picked her up on wanted person charges.
According to police records, Kelly was charged with “wanted person” because of a warrant for her arrest on probation violation charges. She was on probation due to previous charges of furnishing alcohol to underage persons, according to reports.
While in an interview room at the Bulloch County Jail, Kelly was under video surveillance, and was caught on tape “discarding drugs” into a trash can, said Bulloch County Drug Suppression Team Capt. Rick Rountree.
Kelly was charged with cocaine possession with intent to distribute, marijuana possession, and crossing (law enforcement) lines with drugs, he said. The additional charges were issued Thursday.
It is against the law to enter law enforcement premises with illegal drugs or alcohol, and a warning sign is posted at the Bulloch County Jail informing visitors of the law and consequences of violation.
Rountree said Kelly is being held without bond at the Bulloch County Jail, awaiting court procedures.
