A local man died in the early hours of Saturday morning after he lost control of his car on Arcola Road.
James Allen Driggers, 39, Brooklet, was driving just after midnight near the Tupelo Landing subdivision when he approached a curve at a high rate of speed. After losing control of his car, the car overturned and Driggers was ejected from the vehicle.
Georgia State Trooper John Priest said there were indications that alcohol may have been involved.
While there is no toxicology report at this time, Priest found open containers in Drigger’s vehicle.
