Editor: A standing ovation for the Outpatient Team staffing the fourth floor of East Georgia Regional Medical Center this Tuesday for their medical astuteness and warmth of caring, beginning with the Pink Ladies who greeted me so nicely, to the astuteness of the prep nurses to the “holding pattern” staff who kidded me about my insisting I wear my “Big Daddy” hat through my procedure, to the young and kind specialist who stopped by pre-op and assured me he was going to take a good care of me and that, at the age of 81, I was doing the smart thing!
