Bulloch County natives Mitchell Hill and Russ Taulbee recently were named principals at Lee, Hill & Johnston Insurors according to an announcement by John Lee, president of the local agency.
Hill, who joined the agency in 2009, specializes in property and casualty insurance for personal and business lines. A graduate of Bulloch Academy and the University of Georgia, Hill began his career with National Bank of South Carolina before joining Sea Island Bank in Savannah.
He is a member of the Rotary Club of Statesboro and serves on the board of directors at Forest Heights Country Club. Hill previously served on the board of the Boys and Girls Club of Bulloch County and as a member of the Small Business Committee of the Chamber of Commerce. He was named to Statesboro Magazine's "20 under 40" in 2016. Hill and his wife, Meg, have one son - McWhorter. They are members of Statesboro First United Methodist Church.
Taulbee has been with Lee, Hill & Johnston since 2009. A graduate of Statesboro High School and Georgia Southern University, he specializes in commercial insurance and is currently working on becoming a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).
He was a member of the Leadership Bulloch Class of 2011 and later served on its board of directors. Taulbee is also a past board member of the Chamber of Commerce. He and his wife, Emilie, have three children: Banks, Anna Clair and Maggie. They are members of First Baptist Church in Statesboro.
