In a medium-sized Nessmith-Lane Conference Center room, about 20 children, kindergartners through third-graders, met to learn and discuss new engineering and scientific concepts. Among the topics: cars that run on balloons and rubber bands, bridge building, catapults and centripetal force. No, these aren't child protégés attending a science conference - they are kids learning about LEGOs at this year's beginner-level LEGO Robotics camp held at Georgia Southern University.
