Three men robbed a Grover Lakes area convenience store Tuesday night and Bulloch County Sheriff Lynn Anderson hopes citizens step forward with information that will end in the suspects’ arrest.
The clerk gave little detail regarding descriptions of the suspects except they were black males, he said.
The three entered the Fast Stop on U.S. 80 East around 8 p.m. Tuesday, acting as if  they were shopping, he said.
Then, one suddenly darted behind the counter and pulled a gun, demanding cash from the clerk.
The three men fled the scene after grabbing the money.
Bulloch County Sheriff’s investigators called for assistance from the Reidsville State Prison K-9 unit, but the dogs were unable to find a trail, leading investigators to believe the men had a vehicle waiting nearby, he said.
No one was hurt in the robbery, he said.
Bulloch County Sheriff’s Inv. Walter Deal is leading the investigation, as well as another investigation into a convenience store burglary that occurred Monday, Anderson said.
The El Cheapo on Ga. 67 near Interstate 16 was burglarized sometime Monday night after the store closed,  with offenders stealing rolls of lottery  tickets, he said.
Anyone with  information regarding either incident is asked to call Deal at (912) 764-1788.
