A woman chased down her husband Saturday, struck his vehicle with hers, got into a heated argument with him and a female passenger in his car and ended up in jail when someone called 911 to alert authorities about the altercation, said Bulloch County Sheriff’s Chief Investigator Capt. Todd Hutchens.
Stephone Denise McClouden, 29, Whispering Pines Boulevard, is being held at the Bulloch County Jail without bond, he said.
Bulloch County Central 911 operators received a call around 12:30 p.m. Saturday about a “white Tahoe striking a gold Malibu on U.S. 301 South,” he said.
Bulloch County Sheriff’s Deputy Mike Kearney responded to the area and found where McClouden and the victims had pulled over near A. J. Riggs Road, Hutchens said. The three were involved in a heated argument, “fussing and fighting,” he said.
Kearney questioned the three and learned McClouden was driving the Tahoe, while her husband was driving the Malibu and the female victim was his passenger, he said.
After determining McClouden had struck the Malibu with her Tahoe, she was charged with aggravated assault (family violence, against her husband), reckless conduct, aggressive driving, second degree criminal damage to property, and a second charge of aggravated assault against the female passenger, Hutchens said.
