Thursday's guest on the "Mornings unPHILtered" show was Allen Muldrew, the executive director of Statesboro's Downtown Development Authority. Muldrew told host Phil Boyum about the "Downtown GSU Tailgate Party" that will be Friday beginning at 6 p.m. in the Sea Island Bank parking lot. The event is designed to get Georgia Southern fans pumped and ready for Saturday's 6 p.m. game against Elon at Paulson Stadium.Muldrew invited students, families, alumni and all community members to bring their lawn chairs, and come dressed for the event sporting their best "blue and white" outfits.
