Georgia Southern University Police are seeking information regarding a burglary attempt that occurred early Friday morning.
Two suspects entered Eagle Village around 5 a.m. Friday " with the purpose of burglarizing residents," said GSU spokesman Paul Floeckher. "The suspects entered the building, went into a hallway and began checking door handles for unlocked doors. They then entered an unlocked residence and took personal items."
Investigators have descriptions: both suspects are black males,were wearing white T-shirts, black gym shorts, tennis shoes and black ski-type masks, he said.
Both GSU Police and Statesboro Police have been investigating a rash of burglaries recently, according to reports.
