Bryce Williams, 7, left, shows off his paint-mixing skills to Thom Mortimore, 10, right, and Isaac Sherrod, 8, while participating in the Art Fusion camp at the Averitt Center for the Arts. The program allows children from ages 7-12 to explore painting, sculpture and printmaking.
The Averitt Center for the Arts resumed one of its most popular summer camps, Art Fusion, on Monday June 6 and will end on June 10. The program gives children ages 7-12 the opportunity to be creative, expand their interest in various types of art and let their imaginations run wild. The children use vibrant water colors to experiment with paint on canvases, using a wide variety of colors.
