Most people do their best to avoid being arrested, but that wasn’t the case for one woman who didn’t want to see her friend arrested alone.
According to an incident report from the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Department, Jordan Claire Montague of Eagle Village and her friend, Aimee Rebecca Bambrough, were out driving early Friday morning when Montague was pulled over for failing to maintain her lane.
After she denied having been drinking, Montague took a alcosensor test that indicated she had, in fact, had alcohol recently. She was arrested for DUI after blowing a .100 on the test, above the legal limit of .080 to be driving.
Shortly after she was placed in the back of the deputy’s car, Bambrough approached the deputy and said she didn’t think it was fair for her friend to be arrested without her.
The deputy asked Bambrough if she would agree to giving a sample of her breath and she agreed. Her test resulted in a .125 and Bambrough was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.
