A fire Sunday afternoon on East Grady Street severely damaged a vacant home before Statesboro firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze. Statesboro Fire Chief Tim Grams said firefighters received the call about the fire at 110 E. Grady St. just before 2 p.m. Sunday. When firefighters arrived at the scene, “It was pretty heavily involved,” he said.
