School officials noted a young boy’s suspicious injuries and reported the findings, leading to the boy’s father being arrested, police said. After responding to the call about possible child abuse, Bulloch County sheriff’s investigators arrested the father Friday on charges he intentionally harmed his son, Bulloch County Sheriff Lynn Anderson said. Sheriff’s investigators accompanied caseworkers from the Bulloch County Department of Family and Children Services in a visit Friday to Stilson Elementary School, where they met with school officials and a 6-year-old boy who “displayed extensive bruising and marks in a pattern consistent with abuse,” Anderson said.
