Main Street Farmers' Market will be held Saturday morning in the parking lot of Sea Island Bank.     Also going along with the sustainability idea Saturday is the Dracula Blood Drive sponored by the Averitt Center for the Arts from 12-6 p.m. to benefit the American Red Cross.  The event will be held on Siebald Street next to the Averitt Center.
GSU is holding a Student Sustainability Summit Oct. 23-25 and will encourage students to reduce their environmental impact.  The "think global, act local" event will give students the opporunity to create an environmental film or participate in community events like the Ogeechee River Cleanup Friday.
The GSU Student Sustainability Summit required preregistration, but the Farmers' Market and the Dracula Blood Drive are open to the public.
