A drive-by shooting in Swainsboro Monday left one person dead and another injured, said Emanuel County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Rocky Davis. Angela Gillis, 40, King Circle Drive, died at Emanuel County Medical Center of injuries sustained in the shooting. Kenneth Gillis, 48, also of King Circle Drive, was first taken to the medical center, then flown to an Augusta hospital for treatment of injuries, and is in stable condition, he said.
