Dr. Justin Rountree returns to Boro

East Georgia Regional Pain Management welcomes back to Statesboro Dr. Justin L. Rountree, M.D., who is an Interventional Pain Management physician. 

Dr. Rountree was born and raised in Statesboro, where he graduated from Statesboro High School and received his Bachelors of Science (B.S.), Summa Cum Laude, from Georgia Southern University. 

He then attended the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta for his Medical Degree (M.D.). Dr. Rountree moved to North Carolina at that point to do his Anesthesia Residency and earned his Fellowship in Pain Management at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Afterward, he served as an Assistant Professor at UNC’s Department of Anesthesia and Pain Management from 2013 – 2018. Dr. Rountree is board certified in both Anesthesia and Pain Management. 

He specializes in interventional pain management and focuses on a variety of spine and pain issues such as back pain, neck pain and joint and arthritis pain. 

Dr. Rountree and his family live in Statesboro.
