Two males robbed a food deliveryman early Monday morning, fleeing with cash after shoving him into a room in a vacant apartment. Statesboro Public Safety Director Wendell Turner said Statesboro police officers responded to The Cove at Southern apartments around 12:30 a.m. Monday, where a Jimmy Johns deliveryman said an unknown man in a hoodie, which concealed his face, forced him inside. “The apartment was dark and the victim said there was at least one other male inside the apartment,” he said.
