A pizza delivery man was robbed at gunpoint early Wednesday morning after delivering a customer’s order.

Statesboro Police Det. Sgt. Patrick Haralson said the driver had delivered pizzas to a person at a location in the 800 block of South Main Street around 1:30 a.m. when an unknown man approached him with a gun.

The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash, he said.
