The 25th annual Deen Day Smith Service to Mankind Awards will be held tonight at Georgia Southern University’s Nessmith-Lane Conference Center. Bill Cathcart, the general manager for Savannah television station WTOC, will be keynote speaker for the invitation-only gala. Hundreds have been honored over the years through this awards event.
