Whether it is supporting her students at Ogeechee Technical College, volunteering at Ogeechee Area Hospice, or just offering assistance to a friend in need, Jan has the big heart needed to be effective. Jan Martin has volunteered at Hospice for seven years, and last year logged over 280 volunteer hours. Jan's professional background gives her the technical ability to help and her caring attitude and determination shine through in every situation. From providing first aid care for attendees at the Special Olympics State Fall Games held in Statesboro for the past four years to sitting by the bedside of a terminally ill co-worker, Jan Martin constantly puts her own needs aside to do something positive for others.
