LAWRENCE CHURCH ROAD — (Pembroke) A woman reported the theft of an extension cord that powered her well pump.
MUD ROAD — (Brooklet) A man told deputies someone rang his doorbell. When he went to look he saw someone standing at the side of his home but no one was at the door.
TRIPLE T ROAD —(Register) A man said someone has been stealing peanuts from his field.
CYPRESS LAKE ROAD — (Register) A woman called deputies to report a domestic disturbance but would not give specifics when deputies arrived. Deputies spoke with her husband who explained the situation and possible medical issues. Deputies gave the man information regarding help available to the family.
McCOY ROAD — (Pembroke) A man said someone used a sling shot to damage a window.
BRANNEN DRIVE — (Statesboro) A woman reported a forgery involving someone trying to withdraw money from her account.
NEW TOWN ROAD — (Pembroke) A man reported the theft of a lawn trailer, lawn mower and weed eater.
PERSIMMON PATH — (Statesboro) A woman tried to stop a man from driving drunk and a domestic disturbance ensued. When deputies arrived the man agreed to stay with the woman.
WESTOVER DRIVE — (Statesboro) A man said someone threw plastic forks in his yard, put toilet paper in his trees and shredded paper over his lawn. He also found Oreo cookies on his truck wind shield.
Georgia State Patrol Incidents
FRIDAY — Troopers issued 42 warnings, assisted two motorists and investigated three crashes with no reported injuries.
SATURDAY — Troopers issued four warnings, assisted two motorists and investigated five crashes with six reported injuries.
One crash, which occurred around 8:40 p.m. Saturday on Interstate 16 near mile marker 116, involved a Jeep that overturned. Reports were incomplete and the driver's identity was not readily available, but initial reports stated he was transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah with serious injuries. Additional details will be published Tuesday.
