Statesboro Police Arrests     
    CORRECTION: In the Oct. 3 edition of the Statesboro Herald, it was published that Robert Andrew Lacher, 22, Eagle Watch Drive, Woodstock, and Alex Andrew Cruce, 21, Hidden Valley Drive, Alto, were each charged with public intoxication, criminal trespass, and affray. Lacher and Cruce were witnesses to a fight and were not charged in  the incident. The Herald regrets this error.
    Ashley Nicole Wilder, 20, Hidden Brook Trail, College Park — theft by shoplifting.
    Waltavius D. Roberts, 21, Riggs Mill Court — driving with suspended registration.
    Randall Rhett Smith, 21, Canoe Court, Rock Hill, S.C. — driving with suspended registration and failure to stop at a stop sign.
    Wesley Garrett Rich, 18, Lanier Drive — possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute; possession of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school.

    No arrests filed.
    
Georgia State Patrol Arrests
     Troopers issued three traffic violation citations Wednesday.
        
Georgia Southern University Arrests
       Officers issued one traffic citation Wednesday.
    
Statesboro Police Incidents    
    UNIVERSITY PLACE — A complainant reported a burglary in which a suspect took a home audio system and an electric guitar.
        
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents    
    FAST & EASY     — (Statesboro) A complainant told deputies she saw what she believed to be a drug transaction in the parking lot.
    SANDY CREEK ROAD — (Pembroke) A woman said a man repeatedly called her, wanting to know where his girlfriend was. She said she did not know, and the man cursed her and continued calling. She said she does not know why he thinks she knows where his ex-girlfriend, her friend, is.
    HOLLOWAY LANE — (Register) A woman said a man and woman came to her home after she arrived home from a doctor's appointment for her baby, and said they were from the Department of Family and Children Services. The two said they were investigating reports of possible abuse. When the complainant asked for their names, they told her to call DFCS and left. DFCS told the complainant they had no case on her and the two who visited her were not their employees. The male was driving a green four-door Mercury and the female left in a black car with tinted windows.
    REEDY BRANCH ROAD — (Nevils) A man said he was moving a patio chair and accidentally struck another man's tail gate. He was trying to apologize but the truck owner grabbed him by the short collar and struck him on the cheek.  The offender said he thought the complainant struck his truck on purpose, and denied striking the man.
    MAY ROAD — (Ellabell)A dog charged a man and bit him after another man unhooked his chain. He suffered bites on both legs and was taken to the hospital by his mother after EMS bandaged the wounds. Humane Enforcement cited the dog owner.
    
Georgia State  Patrol Incidents    
    Troopers issued 13 warnings, assisted three motorists and investigated two crashes with no reported injuries Wednesday.
        
Georgia Southern University Incidents
    Officers issued four traffic warnings, investigated two traffic accidents, assisted three motorists and responded to three alarms Wednesday.

    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Wednesday:
    Bulloch County Sheriff's Department — six calls.
    Statesboro Police Department — 19 calls.
    Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — three calls.
    Brooklet Police — one call.
    Candler County Sheriff's Department — seven calls.
    Claxton Police Department — three calls.

    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Wednesday:
    Statesboro Fire Department — three calls.

    Central 911 operators dispatched the following call Wednesday:
    Bulloch County EMS — three accident calls, a fire call and 16 medical calls.   
    Candler County EMS — one medical call.  
    Evans County EMS — three medical calls.    
    Central 911 operators also routed a call to Tattnall County 911 .
