Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents
NORTH 301 — A man was witnessed taking two cases of Bud Lite from a convenience store without paying. The clerk reviewed the security camera and gave the description to deputies.
BOHLER LANE — A unknown burglar entered a home through the back door and took the following items: two watches, a string of pearls,gold and diamond bracelets, a number of rings, various pairs of earrings, a jewelry box and a .22 revolver with pearl handles.
HENRY BLITCH ROAD — Deputies responded to the location regarding a simple battery.
SPEIGHTS LANE — Deputies responded to a domestic dispute between father and son.
ZELL MILLER PARKWAY — A man reported that he saw a board sticking through the front panel of a delivery truck. They are not sure if it was the result of vandalism.
BROOKLET-DENMARK ROAD — A woman found her backseat covered in silly string, which had been sprayed through a small crack in the rear window.
COURTNEY WAY — Deputies responded to a report of a burglary. The unknown offender stole a Nintendo Game Cube, a Playstation and various personal items.
AIRPORT DRIVE — Deputies responded to a report of a suspicious person.
EAST HIGHWAY 80 — Deputies responded to a domestic dispute.
ELLIS ROAD — An ex-employee of the complainant's business has been coming by the personal property and harassing the owner and his family.
MOORE ROAD — Deputies responded to a report of a physical altercation.
US 301 SOUTH — Deputies responded to a domestic dispute in which the offenders were arguing about the use of their shared car.
MUDD ROAD — A man reported that someone has rubbed white grease all over his door handle and windshield.
Georgia State Patrol Incidents
During the month of October, Georgia State Trooper's Statesboro Post investigated three traffic accidents in Evans County resulting in one injury. In addition, troopers issued 87 traffic citations in Evans County including one driving under the influence violations, 25 for speeding, 20 seat belt violations and four child restraint violations. Troopers also issued 84 warnings in Evans.
During the month of October, Georgia State Trooper's Statesboro Post investigated six traffic accidents in Candler County resulting in six injuries. In addition, troopers issued 91 traffic citations including six driving under the influence violations, 37 speeding violations, five seat belt violations and four child restraint violations. Troopers also issued 66 warnings in Candler.
During the month of October, Georgia State Trooper's Statesboro Post investigated 83 traffic accidents in Bulloch County resulting in 42 injuries and two fatalities. In addition, troopers issued 279 traffic citations including 24 driving under the influence violations, 86 speeding violations, 15 seat belt violations and three child restraint violations. Troopers also issued 231 warnings in Bulloch.
