Statesboro Police Arrests

Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests    
    Ronald Jesse Morgan, 21, Deloach Lane, Brooklet —  battery, criminal trespass.
    Linda Pauline Owens,39, Ga. 67, Brooklet — reckless conduct.
    Toriano Adadius Blackmon, 29, East Olliff Street — sale of cocaine.
    Melvin Jamarcus Lanier, 28, Reed Street — fleeing/attempt to elude, obstruction, driving with a suspended license.
    Michael Wayman Owen, 27, Troy Street, Brooklet — probation violation.
    Jennifer Lynn Black, 21, Thompson Lane — simple battery.
        
Georgia State Patrol Arrests
    Troopers issued three traffic violation citations Wednesday.    
         
Georgia Southern University Arrests
       Officers issued three traffic citations Wednesday.
     Shadrick Marquice Harris, 20, South Zetterower Avenue —  DUI and failure to meet headlight requirements.
    
Statesboro Police Incidents    
    WAL-MART — A  man was caught stealing a printer ink cartridge.
    THE POINTE AT SOUTHERN — A woman saw a man in dark clothing jumping on cars and tampering with spare tires.
    SOUTH WALNUT STREET — A man told police someone stole a TV from his home.
    RUDE RUDY'S — A man said another man grabbed him, pushed him, then took him outside and struck him in the face. Security employees said the complainant was loud, argumentative and disruptive.
    PARKERS ENZONE —  A man was found unconscious on the floor, but was revived when police got there. He was charged with public intoxication and underage possession of alcohol.
    MILL RUN APARTEMENTS — A man reported an air compressor stolen.
    DEBBIE LANE — An Ipod and charger were reported stolen from a vehicle.
    NORTH FOSS STREET — A man found a miter saw stolen from his home i a pawn shop.
    WILBURN ROAD — A man said someone  took two guns from his vehicle.
    EASTVIEW APARTMENTS — A man and woman became engaged in a physical brawl after the woman discovered the man was with another woman.
    OLD TOWNE DRIVE — A man saw another male in dark clothes trying to get in his back door. When he went outside to investigate, carrying a shotgun, he did not see the man.
    
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents    
    WEST RUSHING ROAD — (Register) A   woman said someone took a gold chain with a "journey" pendant from her home.
    PARKVIEW APARTMENTS — (Statesboro) A woman said someone cut her window screen  and tried cutting a deadbolt. They also carried a 55 gallon drum from behind the house to underneath the bedroom window.
    REEDY BRANCH DRIVE — (Pembroke) A deputy responded to a call regarding battery and arrested a man and a woman on related charges.
    ARTHUR NUBERN ROAD — (Brooklet) A woman told deputies her son received harassing text messages from a man who also drives by  their home repeatedly. The deputy waited in  the area and  the offender returned, racing is engine in front of the complainant's home. When the deputy contacted the offender, he discovered the complainant's son had been sending unwanted text messages to a female in the offender's home. The female received such a message while  the deputy was there.
    
Georgia State Patrol Incidents    
     Troopers investigated one crash Wednesday, with no reported injuries.
        
Georgia Southern University Incidents
      Officers issued three traffic warnings, assisted seven motorists, assisted one injured person and responded to two alarms Wednesday.
    UNIVERSITY STORE —  Someone reported a case of financial transaction card fraud.
    NEWTON BUILDING —  Several vending machines were damaged.
    UNIVERSITY VILLAS — Someone reported being harassed.

    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Wednesday:
    Bulloch County Sheriff's Department — 21  calls.
    Statesboro Police Department — 13 calls.
    University Police Department — two calls.
    Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — no calls.
    Candler County Sheriff's Department — five calls.
    Evans County Sheriff's Department — two calls.
        
911 Fire Department Reports

    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Wednesday:
    Statesboro Fire Department — eight calls.
    Bulloch County Volunteer Firefighters — three calls.
    Metter Fire Department — four calls.
        
911 EMS Reports
    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Wednesday:
    Bulloch County EMS — one fire call and six medical calls.   
    Candler County EMS — two fire calls and five medical calls.  
    Evans County EMS — one medical call.    
    Central 911 operators also routed one call to LifeStar helicopter, a call to Bulloch County First Responders, a call to Bleckly County 911 and a call to Bryan County 911.
