JAMES STREET – A woman complained that her son had skipped school and did not return on time.
GEORGIA AVENUE – A woman lost her cell phone in University Plaza
NORTH MAIN STREET – A woman complained that she and her brother were in a car, with their mother, when a disagreement erupted over money. She said her brother grabbed her hand and pulled her into the seat, causing her to hit her stomach on the seat. Since she is pregnant, she called 911 and was transported to the women’s pavilion.
STATESBORO PLACE – Someone threw a golf ball at a window – breaking the outer pane of glass.
SOUTH MAIN STREET – A man stated that he let an unknown man into his residence. When the residence owner went to the bathroom the unknown man took his wallet and left.
PACKINGHOUSE ROAD – An abandoned vehicle was towed to the impound lot.
COLLEGE PARK UNIVERSITY PINES – A man was cooking and stepped outside to talk with a friend. When he came back the kitchen was on fire. The kitchen sustained extensive damage.
WAL-MART – Three people were caught shoplifting $264 worth of clothes and miscellaneous items.
WAL-MART – A man was found in the Wal-Mart parking lot with a can of 3M Dust Remover and was observed with very large pupils. He was placed under arrest.

Troopers issued 23 citations and 40 warnings, had one medical relay, assisted two motorists, investigated two crashes and help three injured people.

SOUTHERN PINES — A pair of shorts were taken.
RUSSELL UNION — A wallet from taken from a vehicle in the parking lot.
SOUTHERN PINES — Some clothes were taken from a dryer.
Officers issued one traffic citation and two traffic warnings, investigated two traffic accidents, assisted eight motorists and one injured person and responded to three alarms.
