Statesboro Police Arrests
    John F. Bowers Jr., 37, Billy Mikell Road —  wanted person, following too closely.
    Diane Carol Williams, 38, Garfield Street — probation violation.
    Rebecca Cope, 39, Broad Street — theft by shoplifting.
    Willie Lee Baker, 54, Ga. 23, Millen — wanted person.
    John Spencer Bryant, 20, Hart Street — theft by shoplifting.
    Terry Deaondre Wilkerson, 23, Pulaski Highway — marijuana possession with intent distribute, possession of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a park or housing project, possession and use of a drug related object and obstruction.
    Chkaia Renee Howard, 21, South Main Street — probation violation.
    Christopher J. Filbey, 23, Kingsley Drive — driving too fast for conditions, DUI.
       
Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests
    Jermaine D. Thomas, 21, G. W. Oliver Road — marijuana possession with intent to distribute.
    Calvin Lionel Williams, 47, Foster Street, Desoto — probation violation.
    Amanda Michelle Moyer, 26, Hwy. 196, Glennville — theft by taking motor vehicle, theft by taking, financial transaction card theft, financial transaction card fraud, theft by taking firearm.
    Marice Edward Jones, 20, Stillwell Road, Rincon — cocaine possession with intent to distribute.
    Donald Ray Ring, 49, Swains Mobile Home Park, Walnut Cove, NC — speeding, DUI (refused test).

Statesboro Police Incidents
    FLETCHER DRIVE — A man reported the theft of a boat motor.
    STADIUM WALK APARTMENTS — A man reported the theft of a digital camera and wrist watch.
    COLLEGE PARK UNIVERSITY PINES — A man said someone stole a gray 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass.
    In a separate incident a man told police another man struck him in the head with brass knuckles.
    MEADOWLARK CIRCLE — A man said someone entered his garage and took a set of golf clubs in a bag, along with accessories.
    EAGLE INN — Police acting on a tip regarding drug activity found no drugs, but did find crack paraphernalia and arrested a woman on outstanding warrants.
    SOUTHERN COURT — A woman reported an iron fire pit stolen.
    HART LANE — A witness saw a man in a gold convertible steal two skill saws.
    SAV-A-LOT ‚— A juvenile was caught stealing a pack of Tic Tacs.
    MORRIS HEIGHTS APARTMENTS — A mother and daughter fought and each accused the other of choking and otherwise assaulting her.
    DOLLARS GENERAL — A man suspected of shoplifting fled, leaving behind an empty Gummi Bear package and an empty Super Glue Package.
    TRACE VILLAS — A man reported $330 cash.
    PINE STREET — A man suspected of drug activity fled, but police apprehended him and found several small baggies of marijuana on his person.
    THE POINTE AT SOUTHERN — Burglaries were reported at three different apartments, with items such as Xbox gaming systems, video games, lap top computers and computer power supply cords stolen.
    UNIVERSITY PINES APARTMENTS— man said someone pried his door open and took boots, a TV and VCR.
           
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents
    BROOKS POND HOUSE — (Clito) A  man said his ex-wife sold property she had no right selling, but the woman said she had the right to do so. She showed deputies a court order stating she must use an auction company to sell any property but said she had a new court order giving her permission to sell the equipment in question. However, she could not produce the new court order. The people who bought  the equipment said the complainant blocked their way in with vehicles and would not let them leave. The complainant said one of the purchasers  threatened him with bodily harm, and another man threatened to use a tractor to  move the complainant's vehicle. The complainant also said his ex-wife brandished a pistol and threatened to shoot him if he did not move the car. Deputies told all parties to seek attorney's advice.
    BROOK RUN DRIVE — (Register) A man said his son pushed him into a night stand, causing a bleeding injury. He said his son, a paranoid schizophrenic, was off his medicine. Deputies questioned the aggressor, who told them he was " the President of he United States and God." Deputies then asked for  the man's identification, and he produced it, further telling deputies he had " issued a BOLO (Be On The Lookout) to all police agencies not to arrest him for any crime." Deputies arrested the offender and then transported him to a hospital for evaluation and treatment.
    NORTH POINTE MOBILE HOME PARK — (Statesboro) A woman said a man took her glasses from her head and pulled her hair, angry because she broke up with him.
    MAGNOLIA WAY — (Statesboro) A man told deputies his ex-girlfriend broke some concrete blocks he used as a fire pit.
    OLD FLAT FORD ROAD — (Stilson) Deputies saw three men holding a fourth down on the ground when  they responded to a call about trouble. The complainant, one of the ones holding the other man down, told deputies the offender was intoxicated and became extremely disorderly.
    U.S. 80 West  — (Hopeulikit) A woman said someone shattered a glass window at an abandoned store building.
    BANKS DAIRY ROAD — (Statesboro) A man reported a go cart and tiller stolen.
    WILLIAM JAMES MIDDLE SCHOOL — (Statesboro)A woman said another juvenile hurt her juvenile son by slamming him on  the floor.
    U.S. 80 WEST — (Portal) A man reported the theft of a tiller.
    FLEMINGTON WOODS — (Ellabell) Cell phones, $280 cash, and jewelry were reported stolen.
    HAYES LAKE ROAD — (Brooklet) A woman told deputies she loaned a woman a total of $1,200 and the woman has since disappeared.
    PAMELA WAY — (Statesboro) A man said he and his wife argued over $20 he and a friend borrowed the night before. He said she hit him and pulled a knife on him. The woman told deputies the ma was drunk and borrowed the money to " go get dope and wine" and he was mad because he could not find his cell phone. She said he was high and blamed her for the missing cell phone, and she denied ever having a knife.
    JERRY HALL ROAD — (Statesboro) A woman reported the theft of a log splitter.
   
Georgia State Patrol Incidents
    Incidents occurring Friday through Monday will be reported Tuesday.
     BULLOCH COUNTY — In February, Georgia State Patrol Troopers from Post 45 investigated 69 crashes resulting in 27 injuries and one fatality. They also issued 247 traffic tickets including 19 DUI arrests, 81 speeding citations, 33 seat belt violations and five child restraint violations. They also issued 216 warnings, according to Sgt. First-Class J. Lamb.
    CANDLER COUNTY — In February, Georgia State Patrol Troopers from Post 45 investigated 12 crashes resulting in eight injuries and three fatalities. They also issued 73 traffic tickets including two DUI arrests, 42 speeding citations, five seat belt violations and four child restraint violations. They also issued 47 warnings, according to Sgt. First-Class J. Lamb.
    EVANS COUNTY — In February, Georgia State Patrol Troopers from Post 45 investigated nine crashes resulting in two injuries. They also issued 58 traffic tickets including five DUI arrests, five speeding citations, four seat belt violations and two child restraint violations. They also issued 66 warnings, according to Sgt. First-Class J. Lamb.
