In a separate incident, police arrested a woman for trying to leave the store without paying for food she concealed in her purse.
MATTIE LIVELY ELEMENTARY — A school administrator reported two juvenile fought, and one 11-year-old left the property.
STATESBORO HIGH SCHOOL — Two female juveniles fought in a classroom.
CITY OF STATESBORO PUBLIC WORKS — Someone broke into a building and took several gas cans filled with gasoline.
COLLEGE PARK UNIVERSITY PINES APARTMENTS — A woman said someone came into her boyfriend’s home and took a lap top computer off his desk.
MIGHTY MIKE’S HOT STOP #111 — (West Main Street) A woman said a man took a chicken biscuit without paying.
CAMBRIDGE AT SOUTHERN — A woman struck a man in the chest during an argument over his not answering his phone all day.
PARKERS ENZONE — An employee took $233 from a cash register, according to management.
Bulloch Sheriff’s Incidents
ALLEN CIRCLE — (Statesboro) A woman told deputies she engaged in a physical struggle with her daughter after her daughter called her a vulgar name during an argument. The woman slapped the daughter, causing a cut. Both were arrested and the juvenile was taken to Claxton Regional Youth Detention Center.
TONYA’S LANE — (Pembroke) Deputies responding to a domestic dispute arrested a woman for simple battery.
POWELL PLACE — (Statesboro) A woman told deputies another female came to pay the complainant’s husband money she owed, and the offender began yelling at her and pushed her in the chest.
OLD REGISTER WAY — (Register) A deputy responded to Cedarwood Acres Mobile Home Park regarding an intoxicated man who was causing trouble.
Georgia State Patrol Incidents
Troopers issued two warnings, and investigated four crashes with six injuries Monday.
BULLOCH COUNTY — During the month of February, troopers from GSP Post 45 investigated 63 crashes resulting in 53 injuries and two fatalities, according to Post Commander Sgt. First-Class Christopher Wright. Troopers also issued 302 traffic citations, including 19 DUI arrests, 123 speeding tickets, 51 seat belt violations and three child restraint violations, as well as 473 warnings.
CANDLER COUNTY — During the month of February, troopers from GSP Post 45 investigated seven crashes resulting in six injuries, according to Post Commander Sgt. First-Class Christopher Wright. Troopers also issued 89 traffic citations, including five DUI arrests, 43 speeding tickets, three seat belt violations and two child restraint violations, as well as 55 warnings.
EVANS COUNTY — During the month of February, troopers from GSP Post 45 investigated five crashes resulting in six injuries, according to Post Commander Sgt. First-Class Christopher Wright. Troopers also issued 88 traffic citations, including three DUI arrests, 17 speeding tickets, 11 seat belt violations and six child restraint violations, as well as 138 warnings.
Georgia Southern University Incidents
Officers issued one traffic warning and assisted six motorists.
