Statesboro Police Arrests

Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests   
    Spencer David Orme, 18, Brannen Hodges Road — theft by receiving stolen property, two counts theft by taking, theft by taking firearm.
    Andrew Kelly Hitt, 18, Brannen Hodges Road — theft by receiving stolen property.
    Lester Polk, 57, Willow Hill Road, Portal — theft by receiving stolen property.
    Christopher Michael Lynch, 40, S. Mulberry Street — theft by taking.
    Isidro Escamilla, 24, Bragan Road, Brooklet — DUI, no driver's license, failure to signal turn or lane change, failure to maintain lane.
    
Georgia State Patrol Arrests
    Russell Daughtry, 28, Ellis Road — DUI (.114).
    Troopers issued two traffic violation citations Thursday.
    
Georgia Southern University Arrests
      Faran Leslie Veal, 20,  Hawthorne Court — DUI, vehicle emerging from alley or driveway of building, driving with expired license, and possession of a false I.D.
      
Statesboro Police Incidents   
    PARK PLACE APARTMENTS — A woman said someone entered her home and took two TVs and a DVD player.
    STADIUM WALK APARTMENTS — Police responded to a domestic dispute.
    MILL CREEK PARK — A complainant reported an automobile break-in and listed someone took a wallet and cell phone.
    FOXRIDGE APARTMENTS — A woman said a juvenile shot her juvenile son in the thigh with a BB gun or pellet gun.
    DENMARK STREET ‚ A woman said her daughter's ex-boyfriend threatened to "set a match to her house." The man denied the threat.
            
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents   
    BRENDA ROAD — (Portal) A woman told deputies someone intentionally untied a rope used to secure a gate and let several horses out of the enclosure. The complainant stated this had occurred on several occasions and was an intentional act. She told the deputy she believed a neighbor with whom she has had issues over a previous incident is releasing the animals as harassment.    PAMELA WAY — (Statesboro) A woman told deputies her husband took her car and did not return, and that he injured her arm in a previous incident.
    In a separate incident, a woman reported a burglary and stated a washer, dryer and refrigerator were taken while she was moving.
    CHANABBY COURT — (Statesboro) A man said he and his wife argued and when he tried to walk away to avoid the fight, she followed him, so he called 911.
    OLD DILL ROAD — (Portal) A woman said someone pried open a window and took two rods and reels after ransacking the home.
    CEDARWOOD ACRES MOBILE HOME PARK —(Register) A woman told deputies someone tried to pry open her door, showing them pry marks around the deadbolt and doorknob.
    SOUTH KEVIN COURT — (Statesboro) Deputies responding to a call from 911 saw two female standing on a porch yelling at each other. In front of juveniles, one woman threatened to kick the other woman's posterior, using profanity and stating she was " a black belt." Both were arrested for disorderly conduct.
    FRINK ROAD — (Statesboro) A woman told deputies his son woke him by being loud, and when he  told him to quiet down, the son called him many vulgar names.
    
Georgia State Patrol Incidents   
    Troopers issued four warnings, assisted one motorist, and investigated one crash with one reported injury Thursday.
    
Georgia Southern University Incidents
    MATH/PHYSICS BUILDING — Someone reported a book bag taken from the building. In a separate incident, another person reported a wallet was taken from the same building.
   Officers issued two traffic warnings, investigated one traffic accident, assisted two motorists and one sick person, and responded to one fire alarm Thursday.

    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Thursday:
    Bulloch County Sheriff's Department - eight calls.
    Statesboro Police Department — 11 calls.
    University Police Department — two calls.
    Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — one call.
    Candler County Sheriff's Department — four calls.
    Evans County Sheriff's Department — one call.

    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Thursday:
    Statesboro Fire Department — two calls.
    Bulloch County Volunteer firefighters — one call.
    Metter Fire Department — two calls.
    Claxton Fire Department — one call.
    Daisy Fire Department — one call.
        
911 EMS Reports
    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Thursday:
    Bulloch County EMS — 11 medical calls.   
    Candler County EMS — two accident calls and six medical calls.  
    Evans County EMS — one medical call.    
    Central 911 operators also routed two calls to Screven County 911.
