Statesboro Police Arrests
        Shelton Lamar Merritt, 45, West Main Street — criminal trespass.
        Samantha Lee Smith, 19, Woodland Drive — possession of a fictitious ID, underage possession of alcohol.
        Ryan Spangler Pilz,, 37, Main Street, Register — public intoxication.
        Anthony James Picone, 20, Vista Circle — failure to maintain lane, DUI under 21.
        Michael Thomas Williams, 20, Old River Road North — theft by shoplifting.
        Joshua Evans Bolton, 19, Oak Grove Church Road, Garfield — theft by shoplifting.
        Xavier Santell Perkins, 25,Lockett Drive, Register — third offense driving with a suspended license, speeding.
        Jessica Amanda Newsome, 23, Park Avenue — obstruction.
        Matthew Edward Stewart, 21, South Main Street — reckless driving, headlights violation, second offense DUI ( refused test).

        Thomas Jamison Lanier, 20, no address listed ( Statesboro)— leaving the scene of an accident/hit and run, driving with a suspended license, no proof of insurance.

Bulloch County Sheriff's Arrests
        Ricky Allen Wal Jr., 20, J. W. Lane Road, Brooklet —  battery.
        Andrea Santia Childers, 18, West Waters Road — probation violation.
        Dennis Berlet Dixon, 30, Kent Street — failure to register as a convicted sex offender.
        Richard Earl Dollahan, 60, Kennedy Bridge Road, Register — criminal trespass.
        Jessica Danielle Brigman, 23, Courtney Way — criminal trespass.
        Sidney Roberts, 60, Garfield Street — probation violation.
        Dawn Renee Volpert, 39, Vicksburg Avenue — public intoxication.
        Jaqueline Nicole Mincey, 26, West Main Street — theft by conversion.
        Brooke Marnette Mercer, 23, Cockatoo Drive — no insurance, driving with suspended registration, violation of the Georgia "Move Over" law.

        J. W. Wilson III, 34, Troupeville Road, Quitman — felony theft by taking, theft by taking motor vehicle.

Georgia State Patrol Arrests
        Troopers issued 16 traffic violation citations Friday; five Saturday; 11 Sunday and six Monday.
        Joshua Hill Donaldson, 20, RV Shelby Pond Road, Portal — DUI (pending test results).
        Bobbi Williams Jr., 39, Anthony Street — DUI (refused test).
        Michael Claude Dryden, 30, Alderman Road — DUI (pending test results).
        Bryan Joseph Chesnutt, 22, Ruben Wells Road, Hinesville — DUI (.099).
        Rickie Dwayne Collins, 46, Summer Wind Place, Brooklet — DUI (refused).
        Andrew H. Waters, 19, Braidwood Drive, Acworth — DUI (refused test).
        
Georgia Southern University Arrests
         Officers issued three traffic citations Friday, one citation Saturday, one Sunday and one Monday.
        Hunter Christian Nyles, 19, Dartmouth Road, Alpharetta — underage possession/consumption of alcohol.
        Whitner Teresa Odowd, 23, University Pines — pedestrian under the influence.
        Leah Kareen Kettleson, 20, Lanier Drive — underage possession/consumption of alcohol.
        Justin Russell Moore, 23, Lester Road — public intoxication.
        Charles Denard Booth III, 22, Stanbuck Lane — DUI and failure to maintain lane.
 
Statesboro Police Incidents
         SUMMIT APARTMENTS — A woman called police after lying on her bathroom floor for seven to eight hours after falling and injuring her back. She said she used the apartment's emergency bell pull but no one responded. Police notified the apartment management about the emergency bell not working after they helped the woman get assistance and medical attention.

        24 EAST APARTMENTS — A woman said someone stole a CD player faceplate from her vehicle. It was found in a neighbor's truck bed. Another resident said someone broke into her car  that same night and too an iPod, GPS, and wallet, which was later recovered minus the $75 cash she had in it.

        WILDWOOD VILLAS — A woman said she was moving from an apartment and returned to find where someone had used a closet door as a table, drank beer and discharged a fire extinguisher.

        UNIVERSITY PINES APARTMENTS — A man said someone lived in his bedroom while he was gone for  two weeks, and scattered his belongings around.

        MAXWAY — Someone was caught on video taking a shovel from an outside display and shattering the store's window, after the store closed.

        BRANNEN STREET — A man called police to report being " pushed in  the stomach" with a baseball bat by a man who was arguing with him about his ex-wife.

        MADISON MEADOWS — A woman called police when she discovered someone had spray painted over her peephole in the door.

        BERMUDA RUN APARTMENTS — A woman said her purse and $200 were stolen from her car.
        SECOND STREET JOHN'S BAPTIST CHURCH — Someone shattered windows and doors.
        BEASLEY ROAD — A woman said a man she knows stole her white 1999 Ford F-150.
        WEST MAIN STREET — A man was arrested after he struck a wall with his fist during an argument. He was intoxicated.

        THE GRILL — Police responded to a reported fight and named four men as suspects in fighting with a knife or sharp object. Three men were taken to the hospital for treatment of wounds.

       
Bulloch County Sheriff's Incidents
        BURKHALTER ROAD — (Statesboro) A man reported the theft of a mail box and mirror he placed beside it to see whether someone was coming round the curve as he  backed out.

        HORSE AND BUGGY LANE — (Brooklet) A man reported the theft of a sugar boiler.
        FOREST HEIGHTS COUNTRY CLUB — (Statesboro) A man called deputies after finding a woman begging for money to pay for a wrecker. She was seen at the pool one day and the next day was found in the parking lot.

        GA. 46 — (Statesboro) A woman told deputies her daughter was yelling and screaming because she was having problems with her medication.

Georgia State Patrol Incidents
        FRIDAY — Troopers issued 15 warnings and investigated three crashes with two reported injuries.
        SATURDAY — Troopers issued two warnings and investigated one crash  with one reported injury.
        SUNDAY — Troopers issued 11 warnings and investigated two crashes with two reported injuries.
        MONDAY — Troopers issued seven warnings and investigated two crashes with no reported injuries.

Georgia Southern University Incidents
         FRIDAY — Officers issued three traffic warnings and assisted three motorists.
        SATURDAY —  Officers  issued three traffic warnings and responded to one alarm.
        SUNDAY — Officers issued one traffic warning, assisted one sick person, responded to one alarm and investigated one accident.

        MONDAY — Officers issued eight traffic warnings and assisted three motorists.
        COLLEGE OF EDUCATION BUILDING — A laptop computer was reported stolen.
        HENDERSON LIBRARY — Twice, someone reported a bicycle was taken from the library.
        ANDERSON HALL — A computer was reported stolen.

        Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls over the weekend:
        Bulloch County Sheriff's Department  —  15 calls Friday;  18 calls Saturday; 23 calls Sunday and 18 calls Monday.

        Statesboro Police Department — 29 calls Friday; 26 calls Saturday;   24 calls Sunday and 16 calls Monday.
        Georgia State Patrol — five calls Friday; four calls Saturday; and seven calls Sunday.
        Candler County Sheriff's Department — seven calls Friday;  15 calls Saturday;   six calls Sunday and nine calls Monday.

        Evans County Sheriff's Department — three calls Saturday and one call Monday .
        Claxton Police Department — one call Friday; two calls Saturday and one call Monday.
        Brooklet Police Department — four calls Friday and one call Sunday.
        Portal Police Department — one call Friday and one call Sunday.
