Statesboro Police Incidents
CHANDLER ROAD — Police responded to an overturned vehicle and arrested the driver for driving under the influence. His four underage passengers were also arrested for possession of alcohol.
HUNNICUTT DRIVE — Police responded to a verbal argument where a man claimed his brother threatened to kill him. The brother denied the claim and spent a night at another location.
JEWEL DRIVE — For an undetermined amount of time, two men parked in a woman’s driveway with their lights off. When she went to walk her dog, the car sped off.
RUDE RUDY’S — A man stated that an acquaintance threatened to do him bodily harm.
WINGS CAFÉ — An unknown person broke the front door glass of the establishment.
STATESBORO HIGH — A school safety search, conducted by the Statesboro Police and the Chatham County Sheriff’s K-9 team led to the arrest of two students.
MILL CREEK ELEMENTARY — A juvenile male was arrested for possession of marijuana and turned over to his mother.
MCDONALDS — A woman said a man came to her workplace and threatened to do her harm if she didn’t pay him the $30 she owed him.
RUM RUNNERS — A unknown person broke the windshield of a pick-up truck.
COPPER BEECH TOWNHOUSES — A man who was reportedly drunk entered the victim’s apartment by mistake.
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents
MAY FABRICATORS — A woman reported that she went to her son's father place of work to see about some money he owned her. She said he scratched her chest. When the man was questioned, he said she had come to his place of work, began yelling at the and then she assaulted him and had to be pulled off of him. Since his version was corroborated by witnesses, she was arrested.
TEAL CIRCLE B — (Register) A woman said the aggressor had come to her house and told her and her daughter that they were nothing more than trash. By the time police arrived, the aggressor had left.
COUNTRY CLUB ROAD — A woman and her son complained that another boy hit him in the head and torso, then told him if he told the bus driver that he would hit him again.
US 301 SOUTH — The victim said he had agreement with another man to take a car to an auto body shop and sell it for him. The man took the car to the shop and sold it, but the victims never heard back from him. The auto shop owner said the man presented him with a signed title, even though the victim claims he never signed it.

Troopers issued five citations and five warnings, investigated four crashes and assisted five injured persons.

WATSON HALL — A bicycle was taken from the bike rack.
CARROLL BUILDING — Two textbooks were taken.
