Georgia State Patrol Arrests

            Saturday, troopers issued five traffic violation citations.

            Sunday, troopers issued 42 traffic violation citations.

            Kenneth Iler, 18, Industrial Park Road, Claxton — DUI (pending test results).

            Larry Purcell, 54, Hwy. 121, Metter — DUI (refused).

Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents        

            W. D. PEACOCK ROAD — (Portal) A man told deputies a known offender struck him on his head with his fists. The offender left and was not located, and the victim suffered visible injuries to his forehead, according to incident reports.

            BURKHALTER LANE — (Statesboro) A woman reported damage to her mail box.

            SANDY CREEK ROAD — (Statesboro) A woman said someone moved a gate from one location to another.

            TEAL CIRCLE — (Statesboro) A woman reported the theft of her grandson's battery operated four-wheeler and its charger.

            PO JO's GAS AND GO — (Register) A man reported the theft of a log truck.

           

Georgia State Patrol Incidents  

            Saturday, troopers issued two warnings and investigated eight crashes with 12 reported injuries.

            Sunday, troopers issued 52 warnings, assisted three motorists and investigated two crashes resulting in one reported injury.

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Saturday:

            Bulloch County EMS — three accident calls, a rescue call and 10 medical calls.  

            Candler County EMS — one accident call, one medical call. 

            Evans County EMS — three medical calls.   

            Central 911 operators also routed  a call to Effingham County 911 and a call  o Screven County 911.

           

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Sunday:

            Bulloch County EMS — two accident calls and 11 medical calls.  

            Candler County EMS — three medical calls. 

            Evans County EMS — one accident call and three medical calls.   

            Central 911 operators also routed  three calls to Bryan County 911 and a call to Bulloch Humane Enforcement.
