Statesboro Police Arrests     
    Due to the holiday, arrests will be published Saturday.
             
Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests    
    Melissa Ann Mixon, 21, Harvey Mixon Lane — obstruction of an officer.
    Robert Lee Carnes, 27, Prosser Road — obstruction, license plate affixed to conceal, no insurance, expired tag.
         
Georgia State Patrol Arrests
    Due to the holiday, arrests will be published Saturday.
             
Georgia Southern University Arrests
     No arrests reported.
         
Statesboro Police Incidents    
    HAWTHORNE ROAD — An officer found a front door open, then noticed the back door unlocked and a window broken at a home.
    HARWOOD STREET — A woman said her deceased mother borrowed $1,000 from another woman, and used a ring as collateral. The debt has been paid but the woman refuses to return the ring.
    GARDEN DISTRICT — During a fight between brothers, one pushed the other against a wall and struck him in the head.
    WALGREENS — A man reported an Ipod and FM transmitter taken from his vehicle.
    
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents    
    STARLING ROAD —(Pembroke) A man reported people  trespassing on his property.
    BROOKLET DENMARK ROAD — (Brooklet) A man saw a neighbors pit bulldog loose and went to put it back on the chain when the dog lunged at  him.  He ran home and called Brooklet Police, who responded and had the dog lunge at him as well. A deputy who was also on  the scene deployed a Taser, but the dog was not affected. Humane Enforcement arrived and took the dog into custody.
    MILLER STREET EXTENSION — A man reported finding several mail boxes damaged, apparently struck by a vehicle.
    GOLF CLUB ROAD — (Statesboro) Someone broke a lock to a gate and removed two golf carts, which were driven around the course.
    MINCEY ROAD — (Statesboro) A man said his stepdaughter cursed him after he told her to get off the phone.
    PECAN GROVE MOBILE HOME PARK — (Portal) A woman told deputies someone cut two  tires on her vehicle.
    In a separate incident deputies responded to a report of an unruly juvenile. The teen's mother picked him up from visiting family in Sardis and he said he did not want to come home. When she made him, he told her she " wasn't going to like what he was going to do." When  they arrived home, the mother and her boyfriend were sitting in the car and the  teen opened the car door and  tried to hit the older man in the face with a watch wrapped around his knuckles. He struck the boyfriend in the wrist, causing swelling.
