 Statesboro Police Arrests
     Arrests made Friday and Saturday will be published Monday.
    
 Bulloch Sheriff’s Arrests
     Calvin J. McMillan, 26, East Olliff Street — child abandonment.
    Toni Evelyn Harrison, 20, Morris Street — simple battery.
    Thurman Jermaine Bacon, 29, Sinkhole Road — child abandonment.
    Robert Christian Benton, 18, Shamrock road, Metter — cruelty to animals.
    Algene Dickerson, 40, Pamela Way — burglary, third degree arson, theft by taking motor vehicle, driving away without rendering payment, parole violation, probation violation, cocaine possession.
    Brandon McKeevers Scott, 21, Highs Avenue, Sylvania — expired tag, license plate with intent to conceal,  no proof of insurance.
    
 Georgia State Patrol Arrests
     Arrests made Friday and Saturday will be published Monday.
    
 Georgia Southern University Arrests
     Arrests made over the weekend will be published Tuesday.
       
 Statesboro Police Incidents
      Incidents occurring  Friday and Saturday will be published Monday.     
        
 Bulloch Sheriff’s Incidents
      COOPER ELECTRIC — (Statesboro) A woman reported receiving an invoice for computers and accessories her company did not purchase, and that had been shipped to a Florida location.
    GREENHAVEN MOBILE HOME PARK — (Statesboro) A woman reported someone cut tires on two vehicles.
    BEN GRADY COLLINS ROAD — (Portal) A woman told deputies a man pushed his daughter and his two sons began arguing with him. He did not strike any of the children, and left before deputies arrived.
    GA. 67 — (Brooklet) A woman reported the theft of a TV and VCR from her home. A neighbor reported seeing two men leaving her house with something in their arms.
    GA. 67 — (Pembroke) A man said the mother of his child will not stop calling him asking for money. He had purchased a truck from her father, but paid the debt, although the woman's father claims he still owes money. The complainant showed deputies a title with signatures transferring ownership.
    MAE WOODCOCK ROAD  — (Statesboro) A man said someone  burglarized his home, taking a DVD-VCR, five DVDs, and three videotapes.
    COLFAX ROAD WEST — (Statesboro) A woman reported a a burglary, listing a TV and Anderson's General Store gift card as being taken.
    BRANNEN HODGES ROAD — (Statesboro) A woman told deputies someone stole a box of checks after strewing mail from the mailbox over the ground. The checks were canceled at the bank.
    MARTIN LANIER ROAD — (Pembroke) A woman called deputies about a disturbance caused by her husband's excessive drinking.

 Animal Shelter Reports
    The Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter reported the following activity for the week of Dec. 31 - Jan. 68:
     Animals received:
    • Rural county areas, Bulloch Humane Enforcement — three dogs and a cat.
    • Statesboro city limits, Bulloch Humane Enforcement — three dogs and a cat.
    • Surrendered by citizens — seven dogs.
    • Number in litters surrendered — nine puppies.
     Animals out:
    • Shelter adoptions — five dogs and two cats.
    • Pets & People adoptions — five cats.
    • Returned to owners — one dog.
    • Died at shelter — one dog.
    • Euthanized  — 10 dogs and a cat.
     Humane Enforcement calls:
    • Court summons/citations — two.
    • Warnings — three.
     Money collected:
    • Adoption fees — $420.
    • Surrender fees — $50.
    • Returned animal fines — $45.
    • Donations — $3.
    • Miscellaneous — $9.
