Statesboro Police Arrests          

            Chandra Nicole Williams , 21, Lewis Street — theft by shoplifting.

            Ronald Johnson, 38, Pine Street — burglary, possession of a drug related object.

            Damien Samaad Brooks Jr., 21, Baldwin Street — theft by receiving stolen property, tampering with evidence.

            Edward Jermains Rawls, 24, West Jones Avenue —  probation violation.

            Brandon O'Neil Lawrence, 24, Easy Street — reckless driving, fleeing/attempt to elude.

            Alecia Shalette Lovett, 24, Pamela Way — wanted person.

            Briyonna Aleese Floyd, 18, Ennis Avenue, Warner Robbins — theft by shoplifting.

                       

Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests           

            Javier Puga Hernandez, 28, Claxton — failure to maintain lane, failure to signal turn or lane change, no driver' s license.

            Perry Vernon Cobb, 41, Green Thrift Road, Collins — possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

                                   

Georgia State Patrol Arrests

            Troopers issued 16 citations Thursday for traffic violations.

            Ulysses Knotts III,  53, Zell Miller Parkway — DUI (.115).

           

Georgia Southern University Arrests

              Christopher Michael Sraeel, Watson Hall —  possession of marijuana and possession of a drug-related object.

             James Michael Morgan, 23, Woodrow Circle — DUI and laying drag.

             Robert Gordon Williams, 18, Southern Pines — underage possession/consumption of alcohol and theft by taking.

             

Statesboro Police Incidents      

            BELK — A woman was caught shoplifting $84 worth of clothing.

             NORTH COLLEGE STREET — A resident reported the theft of a computer, DVDs, sunglasses and a lighter during a burglary.

            EAST JONES AVENUE — A woman told police a man stared at her daughter, causing an altercation between her and  the offender. The accused man told police he did not even know the woman's daughter, but the woman's husband " tries" him by staring at him.

            KMART — A juvenile was arrested for shoplifting a pregnancy test.

            WAL-MART — A man put a 40" LCD TV in a buggy and pushed it through a fire exit, thus stealing the item.

            CAMPUS CROSSING — A man said someone stole his tag and cut his  tire.

           

Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents        

            PARKVIEW APARTMENTS — (Statesboro)  A woman said a Niver Road man harasses her by phone.

            WALLACE WIGGINS LANE — (Statesboro) A man told deputies his ex-girlfriend will not allow  him visitation with their child.

            DIXON CONNECTOR — (Statesboro) A man said a woman called him repeatedly wanting  to talk about his daughter, to the point he had to unplug his phone.

            DRY BRANCH VILLAGE — (Register) A woman called deputies when her son got into a fight with her husband. Both were drinking and both were arrested.

            W. D. PEACOCK ROAD — (Portal) A woman said her husband called for a ride after drinking all day at a friend's house, and she refused to go get him. The friend called her and warned her that her husband was walking home with a hatchet in his hands, and had threatened to kill her when he got home. Deputies found the man, who denied knowing anything about a hatchet or killing his wife, but was very intoxicated and ended up being arrested.

                       

Georgia State Patrol Incidents  

            Troopers issued 25 warnings and investigated one crash with one reported injury Thursday.

                       

Georgia Southern University Incidents

             Officers issued one traffic warning, assisted one motorist, responded to one alarm and investigated two accidents Thursday.

            NESSMITH-LANE CONTINUING EDUCATION — A text book was taken from a vehicle  in the parking lot.

            RECREATION ACTIVITY CENTER —  A wallet was taken from the building.

           

911  Law Enforcement Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Thursday:

            Bulloch County Sheriff's Department — 18 calls.

            Statesboro Police Department — 33 calls.

            University Police Department — one call.

            Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — no calls.

            Candler County Sheriff's Department — four calls.

            Evans County Sheriff's Department — two calls.

                       

911 Fire Department Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Thursday:

            Statesboro Fire Department — two calls.

            Bulloch County Volunteer Firefighters — three calls.

                       

911 EMS Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Thursday:

            Bulloch County EMS — two accident calls, two fire calls and 14 medical calls.  

            Candler County EMS — four  medical calls. 

            Evans County EMS — one medical call.   

            Central 911 operators also routed two calls to Bulloch County Humane Enforcement, two calls  to Bryan County 911, and a call to Emanuel County 911.
