Bulloch Sheriff’s Incidents
POPE ROAD — (Ellabell) A man said he and a woman argued and he wanted to leave. The woman refused to tell deputies what the argument was about and said she would be the one leaving.
BELL ROAD — (Brooklet) A woman told deputies some young men had been riding four-wheelers on her property although she asked them not to.
CHOCTAW HUNT — (Statesboro) A man reported an automobile break-in where someone stole three amplifiers.
CYPRESS LAKE MOBILE HOME PARK — (Register) A man and woman were arguing and she wanted to leave, but the man living in the home refused to give her a bottle of her prescription medicine because she was abusing it. The woman said she wanted to go to her son's house, and deputies retrieved her prescription medicine. Then the deputy offered her a ride to the county line for her son to pick her up, but she did not want to wake him to get her. She then told the deputy she would sleep on the couch until he could come get her the next day.
Georgia State Patrol Incidents
Troopers issued 52 warnings, assisted nine motorists, and investigated one crash with no reported injuries Friday.

The Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter reported the following activity for the week of Dec. 17-23:
Animals received:
• Rural county areas, Bulloch Humane Enforcement — 21 dogs and 10 cats.
• Statesboro city limits, Bulloch Humane Enforcement — three dogs and three cats.
• Portal city limits — two dogs.
• Surrendered by citizens — three dogs and six cats.
• Number in litters surrendered — four puppies and one kitten.
Animals out:
• Shelter adoptions — two dogs and six cats.
• Pets & People adoptions — nine dogs and one cat.
• Returned to owners — five dogs.
• Euthanized — 2 dogs and 16 cats plus two dogs from the adoption floor.
Humane Enforcement calls:
• Hawk complaints — one.
• Court summons/citations — 15.
• Warnings — nine.
Money collected:
• Adoption fees — $630.
• Surrender fees — $10.
• Returned animal fines — $145.
• Donations — $62.
• Miscellaneous — $123.
