Statesboro Police Arrests          

            Ryan Alexander Gibson, 21, Lyons Center Road, Lyons — failure to maintain lane, DUI.

            Thomas Richard Kinsella, 24,Lanier Drive — probation violation, battery (domestic violence act violation) , criminal trespass.

            Bruce Marlon Cannon Jr.,         20, Cody Lane, Brooklet — defective equipment, DUI under 21.

           

Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests           

            Tony Anthony Bacon, 20, Deer Run Court — criminal trespass, stalking.

            Aubrey Elizabeth Sims, 27, Howard Drive, Bloomingdale — criminal attempt to manufacture methamphetamine.

            Glenn Lamar Shuman, 55, P. W. Clifton Road, Brooklet — trafficking in methamphetamine.

            Shannon Nicole Shumate, 33, South Mulberry Street — expired tag, no insurance, unlawful use of license plates.

            Watson Edward Chance, 53, Roundtree Street — aggravated assault.

            Cedric Wells, 34, Bay Street — battery.

           

Georgia State Patrol Arrests

            Troopers issued 19 traffic violation citations.

                                     

Georgia Southern University Arrests

             Marcus Mills, 23, Ogeechee Road, Sylvania — public intoxication, disorderly conduct and obstruction of an officer.

            Alexander M. Scott, 21, Rucker Lane — public intoxication and obstruction of an officer.

             

Statesboro Police Incidents      

            SEASONS APARTMENTS —  A woman said her boyfriend choked her and struck her twice in the face, then destroyed her personal property.

            CAMBRIDGE AT SOUTHERN —  A woman said another female is sending her harassing messages through MySpace.com because the offender believes the complainant is sending her the same kind of messages, which the complainant denied.

            WAL-MART — A man said two men driving through the parking lot threw some sort of liquid at him, striking him in  the face.

                       

Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents        

            LANGSTON CHAPEL MIDDLE SCHOOL — (Statesboro) A man said a juvenile threw a bowling ball at his daughter, striking her in the face, threatening "Next time it will be my fist."  The incident occurred in the school gym, and the girl said she told the coach but he did nothing.

            HOOD ROAD — (Statesboro) A woman said someone knocked her mail box off its post. Also, there was burned newspaper along the road.

            RED BREAST LANE — (Statesboro) A man told deputies he thinks someone has been entering his residence through an attic window, then comes into the living room.

            SHERROD ROAD — (Brooklet) A man said someone took a roll of copper wire from each of three work trucks.

                                                                                                           

Georgia State Patrol Incidents  

            Troopers issued 30 warnings, assisted one motorist and investigated a crash resulting in no injuries Sunday.

                       

Georgia Southern University Incidents

            THURSDAY —  Officers issued two traffic warnings, assisted one motorist and responded to one alarm.

            FRIDAY — Officers assisted two motorists and responded to two alarms.

            SATURDAY —  No incidents were reported.

            SUNDAY — Officers issued one traffic warning.

           

911  Law Enforcement Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Sunday:

            Bulloch County Sheriff's Department — 15 calls.

            Statesboro Police Department — 21 calls.

            Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — four calls.

            Candler County Sheriff's Department — seven calls.

            Evans County Sheriff's Department — two calls.

            Claxton Police Department — one call.

           

911 Fire Department Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Sunday:

            Statesboro Fire Department — three calls.

            Claxton Fire Department — one call.

            Daisy Fire Department — one call.

                       

911 EMS Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following call Sunday:

            Bulloch County EMS — 14 medical calls.  

            Candler County EMS — two medical calls. 

            Evans County EMS — five medical calls.   

            Central 911 operators also routed three calls to Bulloch County First Responders, a call to Bryan County 911, a call to Excelsior Electric Membership Corporation and a call to Emanuel County 911.
