Statesboro Police Arrests
    Arrests made Friday and Saturday will be published Monday.

    Arrests made over the weekend will be published Tuesday.

     Incidents occurring  Friday and Saturday will be published Monday.     
    
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents
     PULASKI ROAD — (Statesboro) A woman said another female has been harassing her regarding child custody.
    POLK ROAD NORTH — (Statesboro) A man told deputies someone stole a red 2005 Nissan Frontier from his home.
    LAKEVIEW ROAD — (Statesboro) A man reported the theft of  a Chihuahua puppy. He said his brother took the dog. Deputies spoke with the offender, who returned the pup, but said it was being mistreated and that's why he took it.
    DELOACH CHURCH ROAD — (Statesboro) A woman said a man called her repeatedly and told her to watch her back.
    BURKHALTER PLANTATION — (Statesboro) A man said he was at a party and several unknown men assaulted him. He was taken to the hospital, where he spoke with deputies.
    WEST BEND ROAD — (Statesboro) A man reported a burglary, listing an X-box, controls and related games missing.
    COUNTRY CORNER — (STILSON) A     man said he saw  two men tampering with a drink vending machine. He chased the dark colored Mustang but failed to get a tag number..
    PEAR ORCHARD ROAD — (Statesboro) A man told deputies he accidentally wasted a bottle of " liquid fire," sulfuric acid, damaging his utility room floor. The fire department responded as a precaution.
    PALM AVENUE — (Statesboro) A woman said someone threw a brick at her glass door and tried to remove a screen.

Animal Shelter Reports
    The Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter reported the following activity for the week of Aug. 11-17 :
    Animals received:
    Rural county areas, Bulloch Humane Enforcement  —  16 dogs and six cats.
    Statesboro city limits, Bulloch Humane Enforcement — four dogs and three cats.
    Surrendered by citizens — one dogs and three cats.
    Number in litters surrendered — 13 puppies and nine kittens.
    Animals out:
    Shelter adoptions — seven dogs and seven cats.
    Humane Society adoptions — four cats.
    Returned to owners — two dogs.
    Euthanized (isolation) — 17 dogs and 33 cats.
    Euthanized (adoption floor) four dogs and 17 cats.
    Humane Enforcement calls:
    Cow complaints — seven.
    Court summons/citations — nine.
    Warnings — nine.
    Money collected:
    Adoption fees — $280.
    Surrender fees — $10.
    Returned animal fines — $50.
    Donations — $78.
