Statesboro Police Arrests
     Friday and Saturday's arrests will be reported Monday.         

Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests
    Arrests made over the weekend will be published Tuesday.
    
Georgia State Patrol Arrests
     Friday and Saturday arrests will be reported Monday.    

Georgia Southern University Arrests
    There were no reported arrests.
       
Statesboro Police Incidents
    BLAKEWOODS APARTMENTS — A woman told police her sons were playing basketball when several males approached them and told them "they were as good as got" if they caught the two outside of their home apartment complex.
    HENRY STREET — A woman said a man she does not know approached her and asked to buy her car for $2,600. When she refused, he asked if he could rent it. She refused again and he left.
    BUTLER HOMES — A woman reported a juvenile threw an object at her car, damaging it. The child's mother told police the complainant had been driving recklessly and almost struck the kid.
    PLAYERS CLUB APARTMENTS — A  man reported someone used white shoe polish to write vulgar statements on his vehicle and a woman's vehicle.
    RETRIEVERS — A woman told police her ex-boyfriend, who is upset over their break-up, came to her place of work and approached her using profanity.
    COLLEGE PARK UNIVERSITY PINES — A man said someone spray painted black marks on his red vehicle. His ex-girlfriend told him a suspect’s name.
    EAST JONES AVENUE — A woman said a female she and her juvenile daughter have had problems with before threatened her daughter, calling her a vulgar name and saying “I’m gone kill you.”
    THE EXCHANGE APARTMENTS — Police responding to a noise complaint cited two for underage possession of alcohol.
                 
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents
    BROOKLET-DENMARK ROAD — (Brooklet) A man said a Portal woman called his home eight times in one hour. Deputies contacted the lady and warned her not to call anymore.
    EMIT GROVE ROAD — (Brooklet) A man said someone damaged his mail box while he was on vacation.
    MISTY LANE — (Statesboro) A woman told deputies her father pawned her computer.
    SANDPIPER DRIVE — (Statesboro) A man reported someone pried open a mobile home door that tenants were in the process of vacating.
    SHADOW LANE — (Statesboro) A woman told a parole officer a man had become physical with her during a domestic dispute, but then changed her story and said she fell in the back yard.
    CHANCE'S MOBILE HOME PARK — (Clito) A woman said a Brooklet man, her estranged husband, has been calling her home and harassing her.
    LANGSTON CHAPEL MIDDLE SCHOOL — (Statesboro) An employee reported a window at the rear of the school was shattered. The responding deputy noted someone had entered the building so he called an investigator to the scene. Reports did not divulge details regarding anything missing or damaged besides the window.
    PRETORIA LANE — (Statesboro) A woman said a man who was “very intoxicated” knocked on her door. He made her nervous so she called for law enforcement assistance. Reports identified the man, but gave no additional details.
    BURKHALTER ROAD — (Statesboro) A man reported receiving harassing phone calls, from a juvenile to a juvenile in his home. The juvenile victim played a recording for deputies where the juvenile offender made a “harsh remark” about fighting her.
    EAST GEORGIA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER — (Statesboro) A man told a deputy he was at a party when a woman asked him to take a sip of her drink. He did, and 10-15 minutes later he felt “nauseated, his heart began to beat really fast and he began vomiting.” He had a friend take him to another friend’s house, then called EMS. Investigators and doctors are waiting on blood work to see what may have been present in his blood.
    HIGHTOWER ROAD — (Statesboro) A woman said another female damaged her vehicle by scratching it.
    TRAPNELL DODGE — (Statesboro) A man reported a gold 2007 Ford Taurus stolen from the property.
    CEDARWOOD ACRES MOBILE HOME PARK — (Register) A woman said a man took $100 worth of meat from her freezer.
    NEVILS-DAISY ROAD — (Nevils) A woman told deputies people who had been renting from her moved out of the residence and took 10 bed pillows and a gold stand from the bedrooms. They also trashed the place, she said.
    MOORE ROAD — (Portal) A Paramour Mobile Home Park resident told deputies she received harassing phone calls from an unknown person.

Animal Shelter Reports
    The Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter reported the following activity for the week of Sept. 17-23:
    Animals received:
    Rural county areas, Bulloch Humane Enforcement — 25 dogs.
    Statesboro city limits, Bulloch Humane Enforcement — eight dogs and one cat.
    Surrendered by citizens — six dogs and four cats.
    Number in litters surrendered —three puppies, eight kittens.
    Animals out:
    Shelter adoptions —four dogs.
    Humane Society adoptions — two dogs.
    Returned to owners — seven dogs and one cat.
    Euthanized — 20 dogs and 88 cats.
    Humane Enforcement calls:
    Court summons/citations — 13.
    Warnings — eight.
    Money collected:
    Adoption fees — $140.
    Surrender fees — $10.
    Returned animal fines — $200.
    Donations — $10.
