People who live, work, attend school or own a business in Statesboro will have two opportunities Monday to tell city officials and their strategic planning consultants what Statesboro’s priorities should be for the next decade and sooner. Consulting firm Amec Foster Wheeler is assisting the city in developing a five- to 10-year strategy for things such as street upgrades and maintenance, water and sewer needs, lighting and sidewalks, park space and police and fire protection. The city has planned four public input meetings.
