Downtown Brooklet came alive with storybook characters Friday morning, Oct. 30, as Brooklet Elementary School held its 31st annual Pumpkin Parade. Students in kindergarten through fifth grade marched along the town's main street in book-themed costumes, continuing a community tradition that has delighted families for more than three decades. Music and colorful costumes added to the festive atmosphere on a beautiful fall morning.
