A man charged with escape in November by Candler County sheriffs investigators is in custody in Miami-Dade County, Florida, awaiting extradition back to Candler County. Todd Richard Hirsch, 39, failed to comply with a mandated rehabilitation sentence ordered through Candler County Superior Court in November. He was ordered to report to a rehabilitation facility in Emanuel County, but he left the facility and did not return to jail, said Capt. Justin Wells.
