ä THE BULLOCH COUNTY Historical Society will meet Aug. 27 in the fellowship hall of Pittman Park United Methodist Church, Fair Road. Program, “Saving the Stilson School Log Cabin,” will be presented by Stilson Elementary STEM teacher Jenny Hendrix and her students. A Dutch treat lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. Program begins at noon.

ä SAFE HAVEN Teen Talk will be held Aug. 27 at Statesboro Regional Library beginning at 6 p.m. For ages 12–18.

ä WIDOWS’ GRIEF Support and Education Group, for ladies who have experienced the death of a spouse/loved one, will meet Aug. 28 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Ogeechee Area Hospice.

ä MEETINGS to be held Aug. 28 in Council Chambers of Statesboro City Hall are as follows: public hearings on the millage rate begins at noon and at 6 p.m.; and a Council Work Session begins at 3:30 p.m.

ä THE CAREGIVERS’ Support Group Meeting will be held Aug. 28 at 5 p.m. in the first floor Education Room of East Georgia Regional Medical Center. D.
