 Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office

▲ MINCEY ROAD — Deputies responding to a call about a suspicious vehicle at a vacant residence arrested a person on methamphetamine charges.

▲ BRANNEN ROAD — Someone nailed two tarps on a roof on rental property and left a card, but the tenants threw it away. The complainant did not know who left the tarps or why but reported damage to shingles.

▲ WIGFALL ROAD — A woman said a man struck her all over her body, while she held a child, during a dispute over her asking him to wash dishes. She said she hit him with a plastic chair in retaliation, to get him off her. The man told deputies the woman struck him with a chair, and he never hit her. A witness stated he saw the woman hit the man but did not see the man hit the woman. The man showed slight injuries. Each was given information on seeking warrants and the man chose not to press charges. The woman was served with a criminal trespass warning.

▲ NOTTINGHAM ROAD — A resident told deputies he spotted a man, later found to live in the area, close to his residence and wearing gloves. The offender claimed he was looking for his dog. Deputies noted there have been previous and similar complaints about the offender.

 Statesboro Police Department

▲ WAL-MART SUPERCENTER — A woman reported a purse and auto parts/accessories stolen from a vehicle.

▲ SANDY WAY — Someone reported a burglary.

▲ LANIER DRIVE — A man said a woman pulled his hair during a dispute over an exgirlfriend.

▲ WEST INMAN STREET — A woman said her brother refused to leave her home and then pushed her.

▲ CEDARWOOD GNETS PROGRAM/DONNIE SIMMONS WAY — A student involved in terroristic threats and acts was reported to the Department of Juvenile Justice and turned over to guardians.

▲ VALLEY ROAD — A woman told police she received unwanted harassing text messages.

▲ SOUTH MAIN STREET — A woman and her roommate had a verbal dispute.

 Georgia Southern University Police

▲ Officers issued one traffic citation and four traffic warnings and assisted three motorists Wednesday.

▲ Officers issued three traffic citations and assisted four motorists Thursday.

▲ FREEDOM’S LANDING — Officers responded to a panic alarm as well as a criminal trespass and theft complaint. The investigation is still active.
