No foul play is suspected in the death of a Bulloch County Jail inmate, but an autopsy is pending. Around 5:30 a.m. Monday, Jail Division deputies found a male inmate, Edelmiro Vasquez, 50, of Reidsville, not breathing, Bulloch County Sheriff Lynn Anderson said in a news release issued Monday afternoon. "The inmate had last been observed at approximately 2:30 a.m. when jail deputies conducted headcount and observed him alive in his cell," Anderson said.
